| Comments: |
The Monarch, also known as the
Wanderer or Milkweed Butterfly, is most famous for its yearly
migrations to Mexico and southern California in the fall and back
again into the northern United States in the spring. It is
seriously threatened by destruction of its wintering habitat and
bio-engineered corn. Plant some Butterfly-weed (Asclepias tuberosa),
a larvae host plant, to help them out! |
